Ladies Golfari
(Note: only offered Feb, May, June and Sept)

Ladies Golfari

A Golfari is the trade-marked name for Peggy Kirk Bell's "safari" of golf. Ladies Only Golfaris are held in February, May, June and September. They are marked by a relaxed atmosphere, plenty of golf and lots of fun.

Golfaris generally run for five days and, in addition to direction from Mrs. Bell and McGowan, are staffed by knowledgeable golf professionals professionals. There are always enough instructors to insure plenty of hands-on, personal attention for each golfer, and the women-teaching-women format always makes for a comfortable setting.

The Learning Center
( Note: Held Throughout the Year)

• 4:1 Student to Teacher Ratio.
• Up to 20 hours of Golf Instruction.
• Plus 18 holes of golf per day.

The Learning Center

Pine Needles'  renowned Learning Centers are concentrated three and four day schools for golfers of all levels - beginners, intermediates and single-digit handicappers. Visit one and you'll leave with a better understanding of your golf swing and your game.

Held throughout the year, Learning Centers are small sessions, with a 4:1 student to teacher ratio. They are designed for dedicated players who want to learn how to play the game correctly, regardless of their current level of ability.

• Full Swing and Short Game Instruction: 
  woods, irons, putting, chipping, pitching and sand play.
  
• Alignment, pre-shot routine and strategy sessions.
  
• Discussions of the mental aspects of the game.
  
• Daily Video taping of your swing: 
  including side by side comparisons with Pat McGowan or Peggy Kirk Bell.
  
• Classroom Sessions
  
• Room accommodations, three meals daily, all taxes and hotel service charges.
  
• Opening Night Reception and Learning gift package.

Three-Day Learning Centers...
School begins at 9:00am on Monday and ends at 1:00pm on Wednesday. The Three-Day School consists of 12 hours of instruction and includes all of the above PLUS 18-holes of golf after instruction each day. Playing  lessons are available in the afternoon for an additional charge.

Four-Day Learning Centers...
School begins at noon on Thursday and ends at noon on Sunday. The Four-Day School consists of over 20 hours of instruction PLUS 9-Hole playing lessons on Friday and Saturday after lunch. Eighteen holes of golf is available after instruction on Sunday as well.

Adult Camps
(Note: Held annually in June.)

• Geared to accommodate
  Couples, single men, and single women.
• Meet and make new friends who share you passion for Golf.
• Tuition tailored to target each individuals weaker golfing techniques

Held annually at Pine Needles in June, the Adult Camp is geared towards couples who enjoy playing together. Instruction will be offered depending on your abilities, not necessarily with your spouse or partner, still allowing you to play together when not on the lesson tee. Single men and women are welcome to attend.   

Early arrival and late departure rates for the Adult Camp is $135 per person per night for double occupancy. Rate includes room accommodations, dinner. breakfast and a round of golf on the day of arrival. Single occupancy, $165 per person. Taxes and service charge are additional.

that opens the door to lower scores. We're available when you are.
